[Editor's note: now he tries to defend the doctrine of religious segregation, with revealing results]:

Let me put this in slightly different terms that you might understand. Granted it's not a great illustration but it does show the same idea here: An isolation ward. You keep people away from others so they won't transmit the diesase to others.

In other words, you view differing opinions as a "disease", and you feel that people who hold such opinions should be quarantined. Once again, thanks for confirming that not only are you an incorrigible religious bigot, but you are obviously incapable of seeing it.

God wanted to keep his people pure so that the could be more like Him...the way He originally created them.

So you agree with Hitler that purity is essential?

The difference is that sick people didn't chose to be sice (or at least most of them) but "the world" chose to turn against God.

People in the world chose to think for themselves. Religionists think of that as a "sin". The rest of us think of it as enlightenment.

So are our isolation wards bigoted or racist?

Of course they're bigoted! Hitler agreed with your view that those of differing beliefs (the Jews) should be kept in "isolation wards". He segregated them in ghettos as the first step towards his Final Solution. Haven't you ever read a fucking history book?

Since "the world" rejected God does he not have the right to keep His people away from that to keep them pure?

If he's going to do it, then let him do it. Don't try to do it for him!

Therein lies your problem: God is not enforcing these rules and laws that you think he should be enforcing, so you take it upon yourselves to enforce those laws in his stead. Hence, Christian fundamentalist attempts to segregate and suppress those who believe differently.

And aren't you bigoted for telling others to stay away from Christians?

Strawman. I married a Christian, you idiot.

Where is your religious tolerance. It's amazing how intolerant the "Religiously Tolerant" people are towards Christianity.

Once again, you follow the straight and narrow fundamentalist path, spouting the standard-issue anti-atheist arguments you've been taught to spout by your indoctrinators without even bothering to see if they apply. You assume that I tell others to stay away from Christians even though I've done nothing of the sort, and you assume that I won't associate with Christians even though I married one.

I won't associate with Christian bigots like you, but there are lots of Christians who do not have your particular bigoted view of religion. They're the moderate ones. They're the ones who don't run around speaking of the need to shove religious minorities into "isolation wards", as you call them. And I would associate with Christians like that any time. Your problem is that you assume all Christians think as you do.

They are exactly what they claim Christianity is. Actually Christianity is the most inclusive religion in the world.

And historically, the most intolerant towards other religions. That's why it was such an important breakthrough when Christians finally began to accept the principle of plurality in this century. Unfortunately, not all Christians accepted that idea, as you've so ably demonstrated.

[Editor's note: actually, the African slaves and Native American "indians" might have had something to say about his claim that Christianity is "inclusive", since they were enslaved and/or massacred by the tens of millions with little or no genuine effort at conversion]

You don't have to do anything except to accept Christ.

And if you don't, then you should be locked away in an "isolation ward", right?

All the others you have to do something to get into heaven/paradise/nivana or whatever you want to call it.

God forbid one might actually have to behave in a noble fashion in order to get into Heaven! What an inconvenience that would be for someone like you, whose beliefs and attitudes about other religions mirror those of 1930s Nazi Germany!

And even still you don't know if you have been good enough until you get there when you find out opps the little lie you forgot about is what kept you out.

Actually, there are lots of religions in which there is no such clearly defined "Heaven" or "Hell" at all. Like most Christian fundamentalists, you are totally ignorant of other religions so you assume that they are basically identical to yours, save for one particular factor: the Jesus salvation trick.

With Christianity you have assurance and never need worry.

Or in your case, observe any ethical principles.

Christ has paid with His death all our sins past, present and future. Christianity is the simplist religion to live out.

It's the easiest, therefore it's the best? What a wonderful life lesson you've got there. Maybe that explains why so many American college kids cheat on their exams. Easier is better! And all these years, I actually subscribed to that "hard work" ethic and the silly "no pain, no gain" idea! I feel so foolish! Thanks to you, I now realize that the laziest, easiest way out is always the correct way (dripping with sarcasm).
